Left to Blossom is a film about love, grief, regret and letting go. Lynn's husband, Graham, died when Hannah was a child. Lingering grief kept mother and daughter estranged as Hannah grew up. When Hannah's tragedy left her in a persistent vegetative coma, their broken bond was left unreconciled.

Plot Outline:
In a dreamlike garden, which we are led to believe is a world within Hannah's sleeping mind, in limbo between life and death Hannah resides with her father. However, Hannah's limbo is actually a reflection of Lynn's own bedside purgatory. It does not exist in Hannah's mind but in Lynn's. She wants to communicate with Hannah so badly that she imagines her thoughts as Graham's dialogue in order to decipher her daughter and their complicated past.
It isn't until after four years of sleep that Lynn finds Hannah's private journal. This newfound insight into her daughter may be Lynn's first step towards healing. . .
